Alexandra Kehlenbeck has worked in the field of ABA since 2011. She first became interested in providing education for people with disabilities after the birth of her cousin Francisco who has rare genetic deformities. Alex became a special education teacher in New York, and taught in an independent school district in Texas after she moved to the Houston area in 2009. Shortly after becoming more familiar with the area, she began working in a clinic for people with special needs by applying principles of ABA in a highly structured setting. Fast forward to 2023, with over 12 years of experience in the field Alex decided to start The Kehlenbeck Center with the intention of providing workshops and educational presentations to families, caregiver, and clients and also BCaBAs and BCBAs for continuing education credits. Her expertise in training staff and parents conveys well in these workshops and gives people the ability to create and properly use the tools that many individuals in the ABA field use on an every day basis.
